CASTO CHAPTER 17 WORKSHOP!
Since its inception in 1968, CASTO has operated as a non-profit organization in the state of California, more specifically, aiding the professionals in the school transportation industry through advocacy, education, and collaboration. Our mission is to ensure every student arrives safely, every day.
Chapter 17 describes Northern California’s finest professionals—those who take pride and professionalism in navigating the back roads, mountain passes, and rural routes.
Welcome to CASTO Chapter 17!
It’s an honor to serve as your Chapter President as we work together to strengthen student transportation in Lassen, Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity Counties.
Our chapter is built on a tradition of safety, professionalism, and community. Whether you’re a driver, mechanic, trainer, administrator, or advocate, you play a vital role in ensuring every student arrives at school and home safely each day.
This year, our goal is to expand training opportunities, connect members through events, and advocate for the needs of transportation professionals in our region. Your participation makes all the difference—when we come together, we grow stronger as a chapter and as a profession.
Thank you for your dedication and commitment to excellence in school transportation. I look forward to working alongside each of you to make this year a success.
