California Association Of School Transportation Officials
Welcome to CASTO Chapter 17
We are serving the committed school transportation personnel in Lassen, Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity Counties.
CASTO (California Association of School Transportation Officials) is focused on safety, education, and professional growth of all stakeholders in student transportation. CASTO considers everyone, from the bus drivers to the mechanics, trainers, dispatchers, and supervisors as family.
Welcome to CASTO Chapter 17!
It’s an honor to serve as your Chapter President as we work together to strengthen student transportation in Lassen, Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity Counties.
Our chapter is built on a tradition of safety, professionalism, and community. Whether you’re a driver, mechanic, trainer, administrator, or advocate, you play a vital role in ensuring every student arrives at school and home safely each day.
This year, our goal is to expand training opportunities, connect members through events, and advocate for the needs of transportation professionals in our region. Your participation makes all the difference—when we come together, we grow stronger as a chapter and as a profession.
Thank you for your dedication and commitment to excellence in school transportation. I look forward to working alongside each of you to make this year a success.
